The Trout have found permanent habitats!

Fifteen Fabulous five-foot trout were decorated by artists, were trained about watersheds, and spent the summer sharing what they had learned about water and their relationship with people on what was called the "Trout Trail."  Tour the Trout Trail (PDF).

On Saturday, August 30, 2008, during Stroudfest, the trout spent the day in "Stroutsburg" for one last public viewing before being auctioned at the Sherman Theatre that evening.  The Catch and Keep Auction was an exciting night with an energetic crowd of folks bidding on their favorite!

Trout in Training

Alright class, are you ready to navigate to your summer homes in the watershed?
Are you ready to share the Tale with the people who stop by to see you?

YES, Sir!

If you missed the Trout Trail, you may tour it HERE (PDF).
